BULAWAYO residents can expect another cool winter morning followed by warm and sunny conditions on Thursday, with weather forecasters predicting dry conditions across the city.
According to weather forecasting service AccuWeather, Bulawayo is expected to record a maximum temperature of around 27°C and a minimum of about 5°C, with hazy sunshine dominating much of the day and no significant chance of rainfall.
The forecast indicates chilly conditions during the early morning hours before temperatures rise steadily through the day to produce a warm and pleasant afternoon, typical of Bulawayo’s dry winter season. Hourly projections show temperatures climbing from around 11°C in the early morning to between 26°C and 27°C during the afternoon peak.
Residents are advised to dress warmly during the morning commute and late evening periods when temperatures are expected to drop sharply after sunset.
The dry spell is expected to continue into the weekend, with little to no rainfall forecast and daytime temperatures remaining in the mid to upper 20s.
The prevailing conditions are expected to favour outdoor activities, construction work and travel, while farmers are encouraged to continue taking measures to protect crops and livestock from the cold overnight temperatures associated with the winter season in Matabeleland.
