WARRIORS RING CHANGES: Squad shaken ahead of Benin clash

THE Warriors have made late squad tweaks ahead of Thursday’s 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Benin in Abidjan.

Sheffield Wednesday’s Sean Fusire has been axed, with Reading star Tivonge Rushesha drafted in. German-based Jonah Fabisch is also out after failing to recover from a concussion, opening the door for striker Tymon Machope.

The local brigade — Walter Musona, Godknows Murwira, Emmanuel Jalai, Martin Mapisa and Terrence Dzvukamanja — touched down in Abidjan on Sunday alongside the coaching crew.

Captain Knowledge Musona and the South Africa-based players are due to arrive today, while Europe-based stars will jet straight into Ivory Coast from their clubs.
