WARRIORS striker Terrence Dzukamanja suffered a severe injury during SuperSport United’s Confederations of African Football (Caf) Confederations Cup tie against Libya’s Al Hilal Benghazi.

Dzukumanja, who has previously played for Orlando Pirates, missed his club’s recent match against Moroka Swallows which they won 2-1.
The Zimbabwe international had played in all of SuperSport’s league games this season.

Supersport head coach Gavin Hunt  told South African publication KickOff.com that the striker suffered a knock during a match against Al Hilal Benghazi.

“Terrence got a hell of a knock in Libya. It was a big blow because he gives me so many options, he can play wide as well for us you know? So we are lacking, well, we don’t have options.

“When we played Mamelodi Sundowns we had eight DDC players on the bench against Sundowns.”

Supersport United is captained by Mutare raised ex Kaizer Chiefs left back Onisimor Bhasera. It also provides home to Warriors goalkeeper Washington Arubi who previously played for Highlanders. — @FungaiMuderere.
