MEMBERS of the victorious Warriors team that dispatched Namibia in back-to-back 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers on Thursday last week and last night have started returning to their bases.

Zimbabwe beat Namibia 1-0 last Thursday and 3-1 last night to go second in Group J with eight points, two behind leaders Cameroon who have since secured their spot in the final tournament to be held in Morocco late next year.

The Warriors can follow suit if they avoid defeat against Kenya on November 11.

But for now, the players are on their way back to their clubs, with the local contingent expected to touch down at the Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport at 5pm today.

The local players who were part of the team are Richard Hachiro, Emmanuel Jalai, Walter Musona, Martin Mapisa, Godknows Murwira and Khama Billiat.
