WATCH: Bulawayo health officials release locations of mobile vaccination sites

BULAWAYO city health officials have released locations of mobile vaccination sites as the province embarks on mass vaccination targeting 15 000 informal traders.

Nine teams have been deployed to embark on the mass Covid-19 vaccination drive.

The vaccination blitz programme starts today ending on July 15.

In a timeline released by the city’s health department, the Large City Hall has been designated a vaccination site for the duration of the inoculation.

Other sites include Renkini, Nkulumane hall, Stanley Square Hall, Entumbane Complex. Vendors will also be able to access the vaccine from mobile centres that have been set up by Lobengula Street along 6th Avenue, Cowdray Park Sign Post and Spampurek in Mpopoma.

Bulawayo acting provincial medical director Dr Welcome Mlilo said the Ministry of Health and Child Care is targeting to vaccinate at least 15k market vendors by the end of the exercise.
