CHICKEN Inn FC play their first match at home match of the Castle Lager Premiership this Saturday and coach Tonderai Ndiraya is confident his players will pull through for maximum points.
“Preparations so far have been good. Almost everyone is back at training,” said Ndiraya at the teams’ Thursday Press conference ahead of their encounter against Triangle at Barbourfields Stadium.
“Last week we missed Brandon Rendo, he picked up a cold but, he joined the rest of the team this week. We have a full complement of the squad. We are spoilt for choice in terms of selection.
“So we will finish our preparations on Friday before we plunge into battle, playing our first home game against Triangle. We are optimistic we are going to get a good result, as we have a home advantage. We expect our boys to really push hard.”
Ndiraya made bold statement on his respect for Triangle, saying they are not an easy side to beat.
“We are not underrating our opponents. We have done our research, Triangle is a good team. Their squad has a lot of good experience in their ranks.
They have players that can hurt at any time, so we need to be very careful,” he said.
