THE Bulawayo Metropolitan Cricket Association League programmes will start this weekend with Wholesale Beef hopeful of a better season.
Wholesale Beef are coached by Simba Kusano and are in their fourth season.
In an interview on Wednesday afternoon at training, the coach expressed hope that 2026/27 will be a better season. He said fans and opponents will have their eyes on them because they have worked hard in the off-season and even brought seasoned campaigners.
“We had a really good preparation for our upcoming season. We start this week, all three teams will be ready, which is first team, second and ladies, we have strengthened our sides for the season.
“We look forward to the season, Tafara Mupariwa, Ryan Konson, there is a few more,” said Kusano.
However those efforts have not been matched with better performances by the Tuskers franchise and significant numbers feeding into national teams.
