HIGHLANDERS coach Pieter De Jongh has made it clear that his primary focus is to rescue Bosso from the clutches of relegation even as his side prepares for a rescheduled Chibuku Super Cup first-round clash against Herentals this Sunday at Nyamhunga Stadium.
While lifting silverware would be a welcome bonus, De Jongh insists the club’s league survival takes precedence.
The Dutchman, known for his passion and intensity on the touchline, acknowledged that Sunday’s tie could go either way.
“It’s going to be a fifty-fifty game,” he said.
Highlanders, who boast one of the country’s largest fan bases, have endured a difficult league campaign so far, making the cup competition both a potential distraction and a chance to inject some much-needed positivity into their season.
