Socialite Pokello Nare has taken her social media followers on a lavish journey as she celebrates her 40th birthday in Italy in spectacular style.

The former Big Brother Africa housemate, who represented Zimbabwe in the eighth season of the show in 2013, marked the milestone surrounded by an elite circle of friends, including her best friend Tanya “The Therapist” Chikuni, and fellow Big Brother Africa alumni Maria Nepembe from Namibia and season winner Dillish Mathews.

Known for her impeccable fashion sense, Pokello, who manages a boutique and her own shoe line, has been dazzling fans with show-stopping looks that have left many ogling. From chic ensembles to haute couture flair, she has turned the birthday celebration into a runway of glamour and sophistication.

In a heartfelt Facebook post, Pokello reflected on what turning 40 means to her: “So what does 40 look like for me? It’s standing tall in my own shoes, sipping a glass of my own champagne, and being surrounded by women who have held my hand, sat through exams with me, wiped my tears, and celebrated with me.
“It’s having a tribe who, whether we win or lose, will always be there.”

She also paid a touching tribute to her husband: “Lastly, but most importantly, to the king of my jungle, my husband, my greatest love. I stopped dreaming years ago because my reality surpassed even my wildest imaginations.

“Everything I could ever dream of, you have given to me. May the heavens continue to converge at the mere mention of your name, may the angels continue to brace above you, and may the good Lord ensure your sons uphold your name in legendary status forever!”
