COWDRAY Park’s golden boy has turned into Bulawayo’s biggest heartbreaker!
Award-winning kwaito artise Mzistozz Mfanafuthi is neck-deep in a scandal that reads like a Netflix thriller, three lovers, one love rat, and a trail of broken hearts, voice notes and chilling death threats.
The pint-sized hit-maker has been exposed for two-timing — correction — three-timing some of the city’s hottest entertainment queens; sultry singer La Dee, fiery dancer Skepta Majaivana, and smoking-hot model Nessanobz.
It all blew up when Skepta took to Instagram with damning allegations, calling out the Casanova in a no-holds-barred post that rattled the timeline. She later deleted it, but the internet never forgets — a TikTok blogger going by @its_ur_gal_lilly had already reposted it.
Things went from spicy to scary when fans in the comments claimed Mzistozz had already paid lobola for another mystery girl, and that this wasn’t his first rodeo. One chilling comment even warned of “possible death threats from his sisters” if the story spiralled.
Turns out, that was no idle rumour.
Nessanobz, who confirmed she had been in a relationship with the rapper since 2024, is now living in fear after receiving WhatsApp voice notes from Mzistozz’s sister threatening her life.
“They think I exposed him. I didn’t. Now I’m being hunted like a criminal. I’ve had to move. I don’t feel safe,” said the shaken model.
She told B-Metro that the messages included spine-chilling warnings like “If anything happens to Mzistozz, you shall see. . .”
Even more worrying, Mzistozz’s sister(s) claim he has spiralled into a suicidal state, going missing after the drama exploded, with his family frantically searching for him.
Street whispers are even juicier.
Word is La Dee, who is seven years older than Mzistozz, is treating the young star like a personal boy toy.
“He gets pocket change in return for playing her bedroom games,” a source close to the messy triangle told B-Metro.
When reached for comment, Mzistozz went lawyer-mode.
“No comment. I’ll get back to you after consulting my lawyer,” he said, dodging the firestorm like a pro.
La Dee wasn’t having it either.
“I’m not in the right space to talk,” she said — leaving fans to speculate what’s really going on behind closed doors.
Skepta Majaivana? Nowhere to be found. Possibly ducking the drama or plotting her next clapback. She did not respond to questions sent to her on Instagram.
Sources in Bulawayo’s arts scene claim La Dee has a history of bankrolling younger artistes . . .
“This isn’t new. She built another local singer’s career from scratch. Mzistozz might just be the latest in a long line,” said an insider.
As the dust refuses to settle, the streets believe Mzistozz and La Dee might still patch things up — toxic as it may be.
“They’re too entangled. The benefits are too sweet. They’ll ride this storm out,” said another source.
For now, the love triangle from hell has become Bulawayo’s biggest gossip grenade and Mzistozz is sitting at the centre of the blast.
From lover boy to ticking time bomb, Mzistozz has truly dropped the beat and picked up the drama.
