The ruling party’s grassroots structures continue to grow in leaps and bounds as attested by new members that joined Zanu-PF in a recruitment drive in Luveve.

Today is the Zanu-PF National Cell Day as the revolutionary party embarks on a massive nationwide exercise to consolidate its grassroots support and streamline its internal structures.

Under the theme, “Advancing Vision 2030 through vibrant cell structures,” the event serves as a strategic pillar for the party’s visibility, unity and organisational depth.

Millions of party members across Zimbabwe are expected to convene at their designated meeting points to participate in this critical audit and recruitment drive.

Zanu Pf Shadow Member of Parliament for Luveve/Emakhandeni Constituency Cde Brian Samuriwo said the exercise was a success.

“In addition to the existing members we have recruited more members to join Zanu PF. For example in cells 6 and 7 in Luveve we managed to recruit over 60 new members. President Mnangagwa gave us a mandate to grow the party and we are doing just that here in the Luveve/Emakhandeni constituency,” said Cde Samuriwo.
