WATCH: Primary and Secondary Education Minister arrives in Hwange

PRIMARY and Secondary Education Minister Torerayi Moyo has arrived at Coalfields Primary School in Hwange ahead of an interface with school heads from across Matabeleland North province.

Minister Moyo was welcomed by traditional leaders from Hwange district, led by Chief Wange, Matabeleland North Chief Director of Provincial Education Services Mr Jabulani Mpofu, district schools inspectors from the province’s seven districts, and representatives of school heads’ associations.

 

Also in attendance were National Association of Secondary Heads (NASH) provincial chairperson Mr Sicelo Dube and his National Association of Primary Heads (NAPH) counterpart, Mr Moyo.

The interface is expected to focus on adherence to Ministry regulations, school preparedness for the forthcoming public examinations and challenges affecting the education sector in the province.
