FORGET the glitz, the popping champagne, and high heels. This year, Sipho Mazibuko, the fiery former Miss Rural Zimbabwe boss and mental health warrior, is ditching the party for purpose!
As she clocks another year this Monday, Sipho is calling on the nation to help her warm up Ingutsheni Hospital, the very place that once cradled her through a painful mental health storm.

In a heartfelt video that’s now doing the rounds on social media, Sipho made a tear-jerking plea:
“No gifts, no glitter. Just help me get a solar geyser and warm blankets for the women in my former ward. They bathe in freezing water. They’re forgotten, but they matter.”

She’s rallying friends, fans, and fellow citizens to contribute through her EcoCash, promising total transparency. Her mission? To deliver a solar geyser, Bale jackets and warm bedding to Ward 1, home to dozens of vulnerable women battling mental illness.
“They’re queens too, just in a cold castle. Let’s crown them with warmth this winter,” she said.

It’s not just charity. It’s personal. Sipho knows the pain. Years back, after a public breakdown, she was admitted to Ingutsheni. That chapter reshaped her life and ignited a fire to fight for mental health awareness.
From spearheading Mental Voices Trust to hosting “Cake Day” at Ingutsheni, where she spoils patients with music, cake, and care packs. Sipho has become a beacon of healing, hope, and raw truth.

“Mental health isn’t just pills and shrinks. It’s a warm bath. It’s a blanket. It’s dignity,” she once told B-Metro.
So as the country celebrates Sipho Mazibuko’s big day, she’s challenging Zimbabwe to give the gift of humanity.

No balloons. No bubbly. Just bold love in action.
WATCH the video and donate. The queens at Ingutsheni are waiting.
