OVER 100 student nurses will graduate today (Friday) from the United Bulawayo Hospitals (UBH) School of Nursing after completing their training, with outstanding performers set to receive awards in various categories.

Awards will be presented in areas including general nursing, operating theatre and advanced orthopaedic nursing.

UBH chief medical officer Dr William Busumani said the graduation marked an important milestone for the nurses, who had spent years undergoing intensive training.

“It is not an easy journey. Our students and parents have put in a lot for this day to be possible. Let us appreciate that,” he said.

Dr Busumani said the UBH School of Nursing had consistently produced strong results over the years, reflected in the quality of nursing services at the hospital.
