Vice President Kembo Mohadi has arrived at Mahetshe Primary School in Maphisa, Matobo District, where he is touring Government-initiated legacy projects as part of this year’s Independence Day commemorations.

VP Mohadi is assessing progress on key projects aimed at improving education, healthcare, sports and skills development in the district.

The projects on his itinerary include Mahetshe Primary School, Maphisa Nurse Training School, Maphisa Stadium and the Joshua Mqabuko Nkomo Vocational Training Centre.

The projects form part of Government’s broader drive to ensure that Independence Day celebrations leave a lasting development legacy in host communities, while improving access to essential services and skills development.

The Vice President is expected to receive updates on the progress of the projects and engage officials on challenges affecting their completion and operationalisation.
