WATCH: ZITF Innovators Forum kicks off

THE ZITF Innovators Forum Day one is on this morning at the Zimbabwe International Exhibition Centre.

Today, the discussion at the Bulawayo Agricultural Society Pavillion is on “Driving Digital Transformation in Zimbabwe Through Inclusive and Secure e-Commerce.”

The two day forum’s theme is “Empowering Youth led Innovation for Industrialsation and Trade Development.”

The forum has speakers from ZB Financial Holdings, ZimSwitch, ZETDC, Econet Wireless, African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation, Environmental Management Agency, Fintech, Edutech, Ms Sicelo Dube (The STEMLady) and Girls in Stem.

In the afternoon, the programme will shift to the Pitch Competition and the Hackathon Challenge Announcement and Problem Solving guidelines.

Some of the topics in discussion today are “Impact of Digital Transformation on Intellectual Property Rights” and “The Power of Small: How niche markets can be big wins for Innovators.”
