WATER pipe replacement works by the City of Harare in partnership with Helcraw Water have started along Dzivakwe Road in Dzivarasekwa as part of an ongoing programme to modernise water infrastructure and improve water supply in the area.

In a notice, City of Harare spokesperson Mr Stanley Gama urged residents and property owners to remove any illegal structures, boundary walls, fences or other obstructions encroaching on the pipeline servitude to allow the works to proceed safely and without delay.

In another notice, water pipe replacement works in Hillside are expected to start next Thursday, also as part of efforts to improve water supply infrastructure in the area.

“Residents and business owners are requested to remove illegal structures and obstructions along the pipeline route to allow the works to proceed smoothly,” read the notice.
