Water row turns fatal

The assailant disappeared after committing the crime at the borehole in Lot 4, a suburb that houses Mimosa employees.
Ntuntuwa had tried to stop his attacker from jumping the queue, but the assailant reacted angrily.
The assailant produced a knife and stabbed Ntuntuwa on the waist and shoulder before ripping his stomach.
The crowd attempted to restrain the assailant, but they were also threatened with the knife, and he fled. Ntuntuwa’s friend Langton Chirenje rushed him to Zvishavane Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. Police said they were hunting for the assailant.
“I can confirm that Anthony Ntuntuwa was  murdered on Saturday by an unknown assailant and members of the public tried to give chase but failed to catch the assailant,” said Deputy Officer Commanding Zvishavane District, Superintendent Robert Mugazambi.
