We got you!

THIS was Highlanders captain Felix Chindungwe leaving club training at Luveve Stadium yesterday quenching his thirst with the help of a Coca-Cola. Our snapper Fortune Muzarabani took the picture as the defender was being driven away by teammate Eric Mudzingwa – and it gave us a cheeky idea to tease you on our front page with an April Fool’s joke.

Highlanders fans can rest easy – their dependable defender is no drug taker. The 33-year-old is in good nick and preparing for the new Castle Lager Premier Soccer League season which gets underway today.

Chindungwe will lead Highlanders into battle at the Colliery against Hwange on Sunday, and club CEO Ndumiso Gumede couldn’t be happier with his captain.
