Wedding bells for Marawa, Pearl

TV and radio personality Robert Marawa and girlfriend Pearl Thusi are taking their relationship to the next level!

Sunday Sun can confirm Robert has introduced his TV and radio presenter girlfriend to his family.

A source close to the situation said Robert intends to pay bride price and has also put a ring on her finger.

“He’s taken her to meet his parents and they like her,” said the source.

The two were last week spotted hand-in-hand at Cocoon, in Sandton.

“They were all over each other and looked genuinely happy,” said the source.

This was not the first time the couple was spotted in public together. Recently they were seen at the Toni Braxton and Babyface concert at the Dome, in Northgate.

They were also seen together at Pharrell Williams’s concert two weeks ago.

“They were there as a couple and looked all lovey-dovey.

“They’re no longer hiding it. Now that it’s public knowledge, they decided to get serious.

“Robert isn’t getting any younger. All his relationships ended up in a disaster and we’re happy he’s taking this one to another level,” the source told the People’s Paper.

The source added they even attended this year’s Durban July as a couple.

Marawa earlier this year hogged the limelight after his former girlfriend and mother of his son Awande, Zoe Mthiyane, accused him of being an absent father through an open letter she posted on social media networking sites.

On Saturday, the SunTeam sent him an SMS for comment which he acknowledged receiving, but had not responded at the time of going to print.

Pearl was also not available and equally her phone went unanswered.

Meanwhile, Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune has also introduced his new girlfriend, Sibahle Mpisane, to his family.

Despite Itu’s drama with Sibahle’s parents, the couple is going strong. – DailySun.
