Chitsa Bar and Liquids
Friday nights come alive with Friday Vibes, where DJs Stixxie and Popinjo take over the decks with the latest hits to help patrons shake off the week’s stress. The excitement continues on Saturday with Royal Saturdays (Dress to Impress), promising an elegant night of quality entertainment and good company, again powered by the popular DJ duo. The joint, located opposite the Megawatt Building, makes a highly anticipated return this weekend after years away from the entertainment scene. The official reopening on Friday promises a memorable night featuring performances by Apple D, Nasty and Silvibes Entertainment, with popular Zimdancehall star Hwinza headlin-ing the celebrations. On Sunday, jazz enthusiasts will be treated to a live performance by a selected jazz ensem-ble, offering a more laid-back close to the weekend.
Villa Spot
Zimdancehall artistes Culture Love, Sane Wave, Mickey Black and Van Choga will perform tomorrow at the spacious club. Activities including a colour splash, drip check, face painting, jumping castle and swimming pools will be held alongside a colour splash cup clash later in the day.
Micasa
Pool enthusiasts and socialites can make their way to Micasa for an exciting World Cup Watch Party hosted by DJ Fraizer. Fourth Street Lounge
The spacious venue will host the Mutare Summer Festival tomorrow, bringing together some of Zimbabwe’s biggest urban music acts. Plus 44 Connect
Weekend revellers looking for something different can head to Plus 44 Connect in the Dora communal lands for an open-air entertainment experience.
