We’re not under pressure: Ndiraya

Eddie Chikamhi Sports Reporter
DYNAMOS coach Tonderai Ndiraya has vowed that the champions will battle to the end to try and win Castle Lager Premiership title for the fifth straight time. The Harare giants, who have lost considerable ground in defence of their title, face minnows Flame Lily at Lafarge tomorrow. Ndiraya yesterday said the Harare giants were aiming to collect as many points aspossible in the remaining five matches of the season.

“It’s not giving us headaches at all. I think the pressure was released last week when we played Harare City (and drew). We can say perhaps we are out of the race because of the six-point gap between us and leaders Chicken Inn. “It’s in Chicken Inn’s hands. So we don’t have pressure at all. But what we aim to do as a team is to finish on a high.

“Perhaps we need to make sure that we collect as many points as we can in the last games that we play and finish in a respectable position. “So we don’t have any pressure at all, our boys don’t have pressure and as a club we don’t have pressure at this point. The race is now between two teams, in my view, FC Platinum and Chicken Inn.

“That’s it, we just hope we collect as many points as possible and then see what happens,” said Ndiraya.

The Harare giants are set to miss the services of chief striker Rodreck Mutuma and Blessing Moyo who are with the national team for the Africa Nations Championship qualifier against Lesotho.
