West Property joins Zimpapers Cancer Awareness Power Walk

West Property which prides itself as the developer of affordable lifestyle residential properties is a health conscious company that believes business can only thrive when the people are healthy and fit.

The company joins the global village in marking October, the cancer awareness month and will this Saturday be part of the Cancer Awareness Power Walk.

“We want to raise breast cancer awareness. We want the people to be aware of their health and to always have health checks. If detected early, cancer can be cured,” says West Property chief executive Mr Kenneth Sharpe.

He will together with his family and employees be part of the walk and fanfare.

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO) breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women and to a lesser extent in men accounting for 12 percent of a new cancer cases annually.

West Property are the developers of affordable lifestyle residential estates — Pokugara, Millennium Heights, Homelands 263, Gunhill Rise and Pomona City — a city within a city.

The award-winning company has a vision of laying one billion bricks by 2050.

Mr Sharpe says the company developments are tailored alongside the beauty in Dubai hence the punchline “Bringing Dubai to Zimbabwe.”
