A CABIN, used as a house by a sex worker, was torched by an unidentified person with some neighbours saying it was the work of a woman whose husband was having an affair with the sex worker.
The incident happened in Kuwadzana and neighbours did not help the sex worker as she battled to try and extinguish the fire.
She said that she managed to save some clothes, foodstuffs, plates and blankets.
“I am going to move out of this place next week.
“It seems like people do not want me in this area because no one came to say sorry or even try to help me.
“I did everything on my own, only friends and family came a day after,” she said.
A neighbour, identified as Mai Tafara, said:
“She knows the person who caused this fire. She needs to stop taking married men into her house because she will feel the consequences of her actions in this area.”
Another neighbour said:
“Anofanira kutama so that people will live in peace in this area.
“Different people come almost every day to her house and complaining about her, she needs to leave.”
