Who wants to bury the Undertaker?

TALK of trying to throw The Undertaker under a moving bus!

In case you need the facts, ask Highlanders head coach Benjani Mwaruwari who on Thursday stunned the media during a press briefing when he went ballistic to reveal that he feels like there are some individuals that have been sabotaging his reign following his arrival at the club over two months ago.
Benjamin Mwaruwari, who is set to lead his charges against former Castle Lager Premier Soccer League champions FC Platinum on Good Friday, did not mince his words — insisting the time had come to come out in the open and tell the truth.

Fondly known as The Undertaker during his days, Mwaruwari expressed deep frustration, describing his working environment at the club as poor amid on-going administrative challenges.

The former Warriors and Manchester City striker’s concerns emanate from the club’s failure to secure a work permit for Zambian forward Isaac Ngoma, who has now spent over a month without getting documentation that will give him the green light to start playing for the black and white army.

“I think I should now go public, you know sometimes you have to have full support but I’m starting to see some negative things. As a team we need to push together, pull in one direction, we need to work so hard.

The boys are pushing, I’m pushing but somehow, somewhere, there is a problem. I will be honest,” said Mwaruwari

Who is really wants to bury The Undertaker at Bosso? Who is undermining the Undertaker’s efforts to build a competitive Bosso side?

“I needed maximum support, but I feel like that is not happening. I don’t know maybe there are individuals who are not fully behind this project. It is difficult to understand how a work permit can take more than a month,” said Mwaruwari.

The coach hinted at deeper issues within the club, raising concerns about possible resistance to his tenure.

“I am beginning to notice certain things that seem to work against what we are trying to achieve as a team. That is not helpful, especially when we are trying to move forward,” he said.

Mwaruwari also acknowledged the pressure surrounding his appointment, revealing that he is aware not everyone welcomed his arrival at the Bulawayo giants.

“I know that many people did not want me here, but that will not stop me from giving my best for this club. My focus remains on improving the team and delivering results,” he said.
