Why Milton didnat join Bosso

IT turns out the major deal breaker between Milton Ncube and tracing his footsteps back to Highlanders was because he asked them to pay at least half of what they owed him.

Ncube had been a Bosso player before leaving for South Africaas Ajax Cape Town in 2014. When the team offloaded him recently, Bosso fans dreamt of a sensational comeback but instead, he joined city rivals How Mine.

a?Having had some fond memories at Highlanders, I was itching for a comeback. I was really looking forward to donning that famous black and white stripe again. Unfortunately, we could not agree on certain things with the bosses at Highlanders,a? he said and there he went!

The major difference was money owed from the past.

a?Before my departure to South Africa, Bosso owed me some money and when I came back as we were making negotiations I asked them to pay me part of the money but they couldnat. The fact that they could not meet my demands made me decide to go elsewhere,a? said Ncube.

An impeccable source told this publication that the Bulawayo football giants owe Ncube (29) about $5 000 and in his bid to retrace his steps to Bosso he asked for half of that money.

Ncube has so far played as an attacking midfielder at How Mine together with his ex-Bosso teammate Pasca Manhanga. He is happy.

a?Itas good to be back home and Iam happy to be getting game time. At Ajax I got less game time after there were delays in the processing of my work permit. I was also dogged by injuries,a? he said.
