Wild Horizon’s Elephant Camp manager in sex scandal

A SENIOR manager with a leading tourism operator has been caught in a sex scandal after his mistress attacked his wife in a supermarket, exposing his three year infidelity.
Moses Shoko (50), an assistant manager at Wild Horizon’s Elephant Camp in Victoria Falls, told a court that he broke up with his mistress of three years, Hendrieta Siza Liboma, after discovering that she is a sex worker.

Liboma (36), who stays at a brothel widely known as Dete in Chinotimba Township, pounced on an unsuspecting Shoko’s wife, Sihle, after she discovered the affair.

Liboma has a six-month old baby with Shoko following an earlier miscarriage.
She was in the company of her elder sister when she attacked Sihle and attempted to dump the baby in a shop, causing drama in the  supermarket when she put the child on Sihle’s back telling her it was her husband’s baby.

Sihle, who once suspected the affair and reported the matter to the police, had been staying in Bulawayo and moved to Victoria Falls to be with her husband whom she has three children with.

A mother of five children with different men, Liboma, then filed for maintenance claiming Shoko had abandoned her after staying with her for close to four years.

“He left his wife for me and then after three years and 10 months he abandoned me. He is not supporting me and the child. Now the child is six months old and I want $192 per month. I am helping my sister to pay rent and he knows my situation and as we speak, all the baby’s nappies are in a basket as I do not have soap,” Liboma said.

In response, the father of six, Shoko, denied ever staying with Liboma, saying he would only visit her when his wife was in Bulawayo.
“I never stayed with her. I visited her as a girlfriend for a month when my wife was away. I slept with her but she also slept with several other men,” said Shoko.

He said his wife was staying in Bulawayo with the children but moved to Victoria Falls because of her hubby’s infidelity.
“I have three children with my wife and I am paying maintenance for three other children with my ex-wife where I am paying $100 per month.

I am also paying back a loan which I took and gave part of the money to Liboma for an operation but she bought a bed with it,” he said.
Liboma was claiming $192, saying Shoko earns $600 per month.

Victoria Falls magistrate Ms Sharon Rosemani ordered Shoko to pay Liboma $50 per month starting this month until December while she can apply for variation in January 2015.
