WICKNELL Chivayo has already given us a hint that the birthday present, which he will give Jah Prayzah, who turns 39 tomorrow, will be HUGE this time around.
The Harare businessman hinted that he will probably give the music superstar a staggering US$250,000 cash birthday present.
It triggered a response from Jah Prayzah.
“Mukoma wangu @sir_wicknell, news dzandirikumukira idzi manje ndinosvika sei Birthday racho ini ndakungofunga 250 thousand?
“I think regai ndingoti Birthday racho ririko mangwana Mukoma because remashuwa raita kure.
“Aiwa rinosvika haro 4 July ndinomirira, magara MURI MUKURU HAMUTAURE ZVEKUNYEBA.
“Ndinotenda zvikurusa Mukoma Hakuna umwe akaita semi, dai Mwari varamba vachikuchengetai mazuva ose.”
Then, there was a catch from Jah Prayzah.
“Hakunawo varikuda kundituka here mu comment section umu kazhinji kacho mukoma vanobva vaita hasha ikatosvika pa Million ndaka cooler.”

The hidden message behind Jah Prayzah’s response is that the music superstar probably believes there is a real possibility that Chivayo could shower him with a staggering US$1 million in cash for his birthday.
After all, he knows that the last time he was severely criticised online, after receiving a present from Chivayo, the businessman simply responded by saying he would donate US$10, for every negative social media comment directed at Jah Prayzah, to the musician.
Then, he followed that up by pampering Jah Prayzah with US$150,000 and topped that up with a top-of-the-range Range Rover.
The music superstar remembers all that because all this happened in May last year.
Jah Prayzah has not been the only beneficiary of Chivayo’s benevolence.
His wife Rufaro was gifted a 2024 Land Rover Defender 2.4 D while his Third Generation Band members have been showered with cars and cash gifts.
Even his son was handed a Toyota Aqua, specifically for his school run.
When it all started, in January 2024, when Jah Prayzah received a brand-new 2023 Mercedes-Benz S500, valued at approximately US$180,000, there were some who thought it was just a short-lived thing.
But, it’s a beautiful brotherhood story that has just kept going and in December last year, Chivayo gave Jah Prayzah US$20,000 in cash following a performance at the Harare Shutdown Concert.
In May, Chivayo took his birthday presents to a whole new level when he handed US$1 million in cash to his best friend, businessman Tazvi Mhaka, who is also known as Chief Jose.
It’s the first time, as far as our records can show, that someone has received a whooping US$1 million cash, as a birthday present, in this country.
So, given that benchmark of a donation, we asked our journalists to predict what they think Jah Prayzah will get, as a birthday present, from Chivayo this time around.
Our Editor, Robson Sharuko, set the ball rolling when he said he believes the music superstar will get US$1 million cash for his birthday present.
Others settled for lesser cash presents but the common denominator was that they all agreed that Jah Prayzah will be smiling all the way to the bank tomorrow.
Here are their predictions:

“When he teased us, not so long ago, Sir Wicknell said he was going to splash US$250,000 on JP and I would have gone for the same figure and topped it up with another top-of-the-range car. But, a lot of things have happened since that announcement and, in my view, they have changed the game altogether. That US$1 million cash present for Chief Jose, who is one of the nicest guys you can come across, changed everything and I think JP will also get US$1 million cash. It sounds like fantasy but it’s just my prediction.”
Lawrence Moyo
“I prophesy that Jah Prayzah will get a Mercedes Benz 2027 model, like 2027 GLE SUV, then US$250,000 cash. The wife will also get an upgrade. On top of that, there will be an Aqua to be used for buying pet food.”

“I have a feeling Sir Wicknell Chivayo will go all out for Jah Prayzah on his birthday. I predict a brand-new 2027 Range Rover Autobiography, US$200,000 cash for Jah Prayzah, a vehicle upgrade for his wife and a surprise package for his mother. If half of this comes true, remember where you saw the prediction first.”

“I am predicting one-and-a-half million United States dollars as a gift to musician Jah Prayzah on his birthday from Sir Wicknell Chivayo. Wishing JP, his family and band members more grace, HBD to Kumbumura Mhute hit-maker in advance.”

“For Jah Prayzah’s birthday this year, I think he will receive the 2026 TOYOTA LEXUS GX 550 and US$250 000 from Sir Wicknell. He is most likely going to gift JP’s wife a car and fuel money as well. Over the past few years Sir Wicknell has shown that for JP he can do anything and this year will not of any different.”

“I think Sir Wicknell will pull off the biggest birthday surprise yet by gifting Jah Prayzah a whopping US$200,000 and a brand-new luxury car. It is just my prediction but, if it happens, it would undoubtedly set social media ablaze and rank among the most extravagant celebrity birthday gifts Zimbabwe has ever seen.”
Latwell Nyangu
“US$500 000, a brand new car worth over US$150,000. His wife will also get a gift for being a wife that has stood with JP. His son will also be given something. Wicknell has a tendency of proving to people that he does what he feels. He is a character that is very unpredictable. He does what he likes, what he thinks. He doesn’t usually do what people expect him to do. For JP, he can do anything.”
Some people will slowly burn in hell. Some people walk on all four for lack of resources to buy a simple wheelchair that costs $120 when these people flounder around their so called wealth. Are these people part of the human species?
