It is barely a month after music lovers embraced the comeback of one of the most talented musical duos, Afrika Revenge, and the country is also likely to witness another reunion of Willom Tight and Dino Mudondo.
Seven years after separation,  the two are likely to reunite with a show featuring the duo on the cards.

In an interview with The Herald Entertainment, Willom said theirs was not a split since they still did many things together besides pursuing separate avenues.

“We are brothers. We never separated but we had to do other things. We have been always together since we met,” he said.

He said he is looking forward to a great show with Dino since his management is finalising the reunion concert.

“We have worked together and shared the stage on a number of occasions. Performing with Dino after such a long time is something that I have always wanted. It is going to be fun. I am sure there will be fireworks,” he said.

On the other hand Dino echoed the same sentiments saying “the split was not a split” but something that was meant to allow him to grow.

“I have always respected Willom as my mentor and brother. I cannot say we separated but he gave me a chance to grow.

“I can’t wait to share the stage with him. It is an opportunity that I will never want to miss and once a brother always a brother,” he said.

Meanwhile, Willom’s manager Russel Mavhudzi said they have started preparing for the duo’s show and a date will be announced soon.

Willom made a huge comeback late last year after years of hibernation with his 15-track album titled “Manifesto”.

It is his fourth album.

Willom collaborated with well-known South African singers, “Speedy” of Bongo Muffins and “Bongo Riot” from Gang of Instruments to release a flawless album.

He signed a contract with Shamiso Music and Entertainment, a South Africa-based multimedia firm which resulted in one of the songs on the album being played on international music channels including Channel O and Mtv.

It was after the release of his third album, “Kuza Ngoma”, in 2007 when he split with Dino with whom he had recorded hit tracks such as “Bhazi” and “Makoikoi”, which became household tracks in the period between 2003-2005.
