Winky D, Stunner in demand

top of their game and, of course, in demand.
The “Musarova Bigiman” singer delivered a flawless show at the “Zim’s Finest” and then he had two gigs the same weekend one in Mutare in the evening and another in the afternoon at the Coca-Cola Pimped Up

Ride Promotion held in Africa Unity Square.
On the other hand, Stunner – currently riding high with his song “Godo” topping the charts on Power FM – also had great outing at the weekend when he recently performed alongside Winky D at the Coca-Cola Pimped Up Ride Promotion and then later at “The Gentleman” film premiere held at 7 Arts Theatre.

But it was at the Africa Unity Square where Stunner aka “King of Bling Bling” and the Bigiman thrilled their youthful fans with their high-energy performances.
The two performed their duet “Vaudze” that delighted fans and their separate sets also brought the crowd on its feet. The show was to mark the launch of Coca-Cola Pimped Up Ride Promotion.
The promotion by Coca-Cola, Delta Corporation and Mutare Bottling Company was one of the biggest national promotions in the history of Zimbabwe where eight brand new cars and many spot prizes are up for grabs.

Coca-Cola country manager Honest Marandu said: “Coca-Cola is ready and geared to give Zimbabweans one of the most exciting promotions in all the 63 years we have operated in Zimbabwe.
“The top-class show will remind all of the Coca-Cola Mafaro Chete Coca-Cola Injabulo Kuphela shows held in Harare and Bulawayo in February and April this year,” he said.

Mona Karingi, Coca-Cola senior franchise brand manager, said the promotion was intended to go a long way in making Coca-Cola clients enjoy life.
“Central to the promotion is the simple notion of enjoying an ice-cold Coca-Cola and taking a small break from the day to connect with family and special friends. With this new campaign, that is exactly what we are

inviting people to do more often – open a Coke and share a little happiness,” she said.
The promotion runs for three months beginning from October to December 2011 with the grand draw scheduled for January 2012.
