TWO distinct cloud masses over the country have resulted in cold and cloudy weather conditions being experienced across southern Zimbabwe, Harare Metropolitan Province and Manicaland Province.

In a weather update, the Meteorological Services Department (MSD) has warned that winter is approaching.

“There were two distinct cloud masses over the country; one from the north extending into the northern parts of Matabeleland North and all Mashonaland Provinces, which resulted in isolated thundershowers,” said MSD.

“The other was from the southeast, which led to cloudy, cool and drizzly conditions over Bulawayo Metropolitan Province, Matabeleland South, much of Midlands Province, Masvingo Province, and southern parts of Harare Metropolitan Province, Mashonaland East and Manicaland Provinces.”
