A brilliant individual season by Ian Nyathi and great teamwork by Wisewaters was key to the Bulawayo Queens Park West-based darts club winning the provincial darts title last year.
Wisewaters were yesterday crowned champions at a ceremony held in the city yesterday.
Wisewaters finished last season with 60 points tied with Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (Bulawayo) with dart difference separating the two.

National University of Science and Technology (Nust) students playing as the Sharks were third with 51 points.
But the day belonged to the Bulawayo Metropolitan Darts Association chairman Nyathi. He was on the podium six times to receive medals.
His biggest was obviously the league crown.
He received the award for Most Six Packs after tying on seven points with Reserve Bank’s Mgcini Nkala.
He won gold for the Chairman’s Singles title in which Ndaba Ngwenya of Mass and Nyathi’s Wisewaters teammate Menelisi Ndlovu were second and third respectively.
In the Chairman’s doubles, Nyathi was second runner-up to Sharks’ Tawanda Nyamuunda and Joel Khumalo of Reserve Bank.
Second place went to Zealous Fusi and his partner Phillip Chichekwe of Unit Fairbridge (UFB).
Nyathi was the best player in the Legends Tournament, an event held in honour of departed greats like Malcom Morta, Nivathi Songo, Walter Moyo and Hall Brown. He won the tournament’s doubles with Menelisi Ndlovu.
Second spot was taken by the UFB duo of Fusi and Chichekwe with Godfrey Mazonde and Ba Mabuza of Reserve Bank third.
Nyathi was adjudged the province’s Best Player of the Season while the women’s honours went to Eunice Moyo of Reserve Bank.
How Mine’s Tinashe Mashindi was honoured as the Best Provincial Manager and Silindile Nyathi was also recognised for her supportive role to the province.
