A Harare man from Dzivarasekwa 2 is battling for his life at a local hospital after his wife bit his testicles during a domestic dispute.
Sharline Rutendo Munenga (29) was facing physical abuse charges when she appeared before a Harare magistrate.
She was remanded in custody.
The court heard that on Spetember 9, Munenga got information that her husband Munyaradzi Pondi (33) was having an extra marital affair.
It is alleged that she approached Pondi to inquire about the matter and he failed to give her a satisfactory answer prompting a heated argument.
The court heard that Munenga went on to bite Pondi’s testicle and he sustained serious injuries.
Pondi was subsequently taken to hospital for treatment.
