“The woman who is a Kenyan citizen was arrested as she was trying to board a flight to Lome, Togo. She will appear in court today to answer charges of drug trafficking,” Ngisa told Xinhua by telephone.
He said the suspect’s luggage was found with the drugs which had been wrapped in her travelling bag. “The heroin is valued at US$180 000,” Ngisa said.

Kenya is identified as a transport hub for drugs going to Europe from Asia and the Middle East.
