Woman wins US$1m lottery twice in 1 day

contained the same five winning numbers – 5-13-17-20-30.
“So, really, it still just hasn’t sunk in,” Fike told The Northern Virginia Daily.
She told the newspaper that she still is in disbelief that she won as if ‘somebody’s gonna pinch me and I’m gonna wake up and this’ll all be a dream.’
Fike, who has lived in the same county her entire life, said she originally had planned to buy a Powerball and a MegaMillions ticket using the same numbers.
But she mistakenly purchased two Powerball tickets.
She told the newspaper that she had thought at the time: “If I win, I win twice so what are the odds so I just went ahead and took the ticket.”
Most of the numbers she picked were based on the marriage of her parents.
They wed on May 13, when her mother was 17 and her father was 20.
The only number she did not get correct was the special Powerball number that is like a bonus.
She didn’t bother to check whether she had won immediately.
Instead, she finally decided to see if she had won anything after learning that two winning Powerball tickets had gone unclaimed. Now a winner, Ms Fike plans to talk with financial advisers to determine how to invest her money wisely.
