severely cut with a razor blade by a stranded woman whom he had tried to rape.
Patrick Maposa, who is of no fixed abode, allegedly sustained several cuts on his private parts during the attack.
Maposa saw the woman sleeping on the pavement and sneaked into her blankets.
He allegedly asked the woman to have sex with him and the woman turned him down and when he violently persisted she cut him on his private parts using the razor blade.
In a separate incident in the preceding week, a quick thinking 57-year old Epworth woman thwarted a suspected rapist’s attack by grabbing and squeezing his testicles.
The man named as Emmanuel Munumani is said to have followed the woman into the bush where she had gone to gather firewood and offered her a dollar in exchange for sex.
When she refused, Munumani attacked and floored the woman before removing his trousers threatening to hurt the woman if she screamed for help.
The woman deceived Emmanuel by claiming that she wanted to undress before grabbing his genitals and squeezing them hard.
The would-be rapist screamed loudly for help, begging for forgiveness.
