World goes berserk for Mexican keeper Guillermo Ochoa

BRAZIL’s hopes of back-to-back victories at the World Cup were crushed by a heroic individual performance. As the Mexico defence creaked under intense pressure from their illustrious hosts, one man refused to be beaten: goalkeeper Guillermo Ochoa. The stopper pulled off a string of quality saves, including one leap to his right which evoked memories of Gordon Bank’s famous save from Pele at the 1970 World Cup.Each remarkable stop was followed by a nod of disbelief as he prepared himself for the next onslaught. Thanks to Ochoa, Mexico earned a highly credible 0-0 draw in Group A. — Yahoo Sport
