the scene, on state highway 59 in Van Burne, a city in the Ozark Mountain foothills, Burkhart continued driving, the Smoking Gun reported. Police caught up with
Burkhart after the quick-thinking victim tailed her and dialled 911. The accused told attending officers: “I left because I did not want my ice cream to melt.” She added that she “didn’t think there was enough damage to the vehicles to call police” . To the contrary, police said, there was an estimated US$500 worth of damage done to each car. — Daily Mail.
