Yadah is optimistic of hosting their upcoming home match against Simba Bhora at the Heart Stadium after inviting the Shariff Mussa-led Football Instance Board (FIB) to inspect the facility today.

The Heart Stadium was commissioned last December by President Mnangagwa.

Yadah chairman, Everson Chatambudza, is confident that the 5 000-seater stadium will pass the inspection and be ready to host the next home match for the “Miracle Boys”.

“We want to play our next home game against Simba Bhora at home.

“We have since invited the FIB to inspect the stadium and we are optimistic that we will pass the test.

“We are looking forward to playing our game against Simba at the Heart stadium,” said Chatambudza.

Meanwhile, Yadah are this week set to unveil another former Zimbabwe international, Evans Rusike, more than a month after bringing in Khama Billiat from South Africa.

Rusike has been a free-agent since July last year after he was released by Moroka Swallows and has already agreed to contractual terms with Yadah.

Chatambudza said logistics for the unveiling were being finalised.

“We have signed Evans Rusike on a one-year deal and we are now working on his unveiling,” said the Yadah FC chairman.

Following the acquisition of Billiat, Chatambudza has described the former Moroka Swallows forward as a good addition to the “Miracle Boys”.

“We are currently working on his clearance from South Africa as we want him to be available in our next match.

“Rusike is a good addition to the team and we can’t wait to see him in the Yadah FC jersey,” said Chatambudza.
