On Saturday Yadah travel to Bulawayo to face Chicken Inn for a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League encounter needing maximum points to have destiny in their own hands ahead of the finale on November 26.
With 37 points, Yadah are currently out of the drop zone but still relegation threatened. As their moniker, Miracle Boys, the Prophet Walter Magaya-owned team needs another big miracle to stay afloat.
They are coming from a crucial 2-1 win against FC Platinum that boosted their chances of survival, but the job is not yet done with straight wins in their remaining matches they will safely stay afloat.
Despite just two games left, the relegation battle is still wide open except for army side Cranborne Bullets who were relegated earlier.
Yadah defender Tatenda Musariri says they are expecting a tough match ahead though they are hoping for a positive result.
Musariri said they are not going to concentrate on individuals but rather the whole team after being asked how he intends to stop right-wing back Michael Charamba.
“Chicken Inn are coming from a defeat in their last encounter against Dynamos and they would not want to have two defeats on the trot.
“I know they will come with all they have as they will try to dislodge us but I understand we have more at stake as compared to them. We want to win the match.
“I hope as a team we will be able to give it all so that we will be in a position to get us a positive result that will see us stay afloat.
“A win will be crucial for us as we don’t want to go to the final match with more pressure. Our last game is against Dynamos so it means we are having a more competitive end and as a team, we are fully aware of that and we would want to take things into our own hands.
“Chicken Inn have a good squad and that’s the reason why we wouldn’t want to talk of certain individuals but rather concentrate on the collective work of the whole team. Of course, Charamba is enjoying his game but we are not worried about him. I believe we have the ability to contain their whole team and that’s what we are looking forward to.”
