YADAH look set to make a quick return to the Premier Soccer League tomorrow afternoon when they host Masvingo United at the Heart Stadium needing a home win to seal the Zifa Eastern Region Soccer League title.
Mathematically, Prophet Walter Magaya’s side needs two points from their remaining two matches to win the championship ahead of second placed Deportivo La Murambinda, who finish their campaign away to Buffaloes.
However, they might not even need to collect points tomorrow if their only rivals Murambinda fail to collect maximum points at former Premiership side, Buffaloes.
Yadah could have sealed promotion at the weekend but they could only manage a goalless draw away to Bikita Chida while Murambinda were winning 4-1 at home to former Premiership side, Bikita Minerals.
Elsewhere, Blanket Mine clinched the Zifa Central Region title after holding closest rivals, Kwekwe United to a 1-1 draw at the Baghdad Stadium earning coach Luke Petros a deserved ticket into the Premier Soccer League.
They enjoy a five-point lead going into the final programme this weekend.
Harare City have destiny firmly in their hands when they host Jumbo Giants at Callies Sports Club on Saturday after snatching the Zifa Northern Region Soccer League leadership at the weekend.
The former Premiership side took advantage of the top-of-the-table clash between Black Rhinos and Chingwere, which ended in a 1-1 draw, to jump onto pole position with just one round of matches remaining.
Black Rhinos, who led the NRSL for much of the season, travel to Karoi United hoping for a miracle.
The two teams set to be crowned champions in the Eastern Region and Northern Region will join Hwange (Southern Region) and Blanket Mine in next season’s Premier Soccer League.
