YADAH Stars are now leading the ZIFA Eastern Region Division One championship standings after Buffaloes succumbed to a 0-2 away defeat at Melfort.

Buffaloes now trail Yadah Stars by a single point after the Harare side battled for a goalless draw against Gutu.

Yadah Stars have been in the league for six months and have already made significant strides and are now leading the race.

In the Northen Region, Black Rhinos were held to another draw as they continued to stagger towards the finishing line.
