TWO young Bulawayo entrepreneurs met last year in Sandton, South Africa during a business symposium and discussed the idea of giving back to the community.
Last Friday, Grace Anne Ndlovu (22) and Bhekusiko Bhebhe (26) decided to play their part in the fight against Covid-19 by donating 1 000 litres of hydrogen peroxide, a disinfectant to the Bulawayo City Council (BCC).

Hydrogen peroxide, a chemical compound which can be used to clean surfaces, can kill the coronavirus.
Ndlovu, the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Own Your Dream Foundation handed over the consignment to Bulawayo mayor, Councillor Solomon Mguni during an event held in Council Chambers at the Large City Hall.
Bhebhe, the founder of Motivational HITS Academy sent a colleague, Haniel Nyauta to represent him.

In her speech, Ndlovu thanked the mayor for opening doors to them.
“We (Bhekusiko and I) met at Sandton, South Africa for a business symposium where the need to give back to our communities was emphasised and since then, Covid-19 was at its peak in our city and fumigation was one way in which the killing of the virus was done.
“We came with the idea to buy hydrogen peroxide as a way to help the in the fight against Covid-19.

“With the help of fellow Zimbabweans in the diaspora, particularly, the Roil BAA Austrian-based nominee, Vusa Mkhaya, the initiative was always going to be a success,” she said.
The mayor thanked the two for the donation. – @eMKlass_49
