UPCOMING business executives have been urged to be relentless, disciplined and have measured leadership skills to build generational wealth that will take the country and their families to the next level.
The Venon Chamba Business Seminar, which was held in Harare at the weekend, left entrepreneurs and business executives with hands-on skills and knowledge on how to build solid foundations for their companies.
Business and property mogul Mr Kenneth Sharpe, who was the guest of honour, imparted knowledge and skills on how young business people could grow their enterprises.
He urged executives to have measured leadership and focus on goal execution.
“The only way to achieve success and generational wealth is by relentlessly pursuing your goals and not taking your eyes off the target.
“What you need for execution is measured leadership, discipline, and leading from the front,” he said.
Mr Sharpe said the most important lesson for growing your business was staying cash-positive.
“Don’t worry about the debt, financing from the bank, or funding from investors, but rather focus on finding the products, the goods, and services that people need.
“When you meet a true need, the market will find you and when the market finds you, you will grow and as you grow you won’t need a debt,” he said.
Pastor Venon Chamba, who was the host of the event, believes that young people can be world leaders without limitations.
He said there is a need to provide a sustainable gateway between faith, protection, and fortune-building among the young business people.
“Our vision is to be on the forefront of bringing more people to Christ, grooming and making crystal clear the potential of young people so that they lead in life and enterprise.
“Business needs to learn from someone who has already reached the destination, people with adequate knowledge, skills, and experience and know-how,” he said.
