HOSTS Zimbabwe got off their campaign in the COSAFA Under-17 championship on a disappointing note following a defeat to Mozambique at Ngoni Stadium on Thursday afternoon.

Chauson Nhabanga scored the only goal of the match from a cross by Man of the Match Allan de Figuereido after just eight minutes.

The hosts failed to recover from the blow. They play Eswatini in their next match on Saturday.
