Youthful Gunners humiliate Hwange

The Colliery has often proved a tough destination for many teams in the league, but Chando Kupisa made nonsense of that history with William Manondo also finding the target for them.

Gondo who has become a regular at Gunners after the departure of a number of senior players got his first goal of the afternoon and his first for the club in the 19th minute.

Former Kiglon and FC Platinum player Manondo increased the visitors’ lead in the 73rd minute before Gondo completed his brace in stoppage                time.
Gunners coach Thanks Tengwe said the rebuilding which began three weeks ago is now paying dividends for the former champions.
“It is a good result for us. We started rebuilding three weeks ago and I am happy we are in the right direction and this should be the start of greater things for the club after losing some players,” said Tengwe.
