‘Youths should take part in council budget consultations’

Lawrence Chitumba Correspondent
The country’s youths have been urged to attend and make contributions during council budget consultations, where they can bring forward their suggestions as future leaders.

This follows revelations that youths are facing a myriad of challenges when it comes to sexual reproductive health issues, with many failing to access council health facilities due to what they see as high consultation fees as well as poor service delivery.

Speaking during a Bindura Municipality budget consultation with the town’s youths held at Tendai Hall recently, the Municipality’s gender focal person Mrs Fabiola Gozho said council had noted with concern the non-participation of youths at budget consultations.
