ZACC tightens screws on civil servants abusing vehicle import scheme

The Zimbabwe Anti-Corruption Commission Chairperson, Mr Michael Reza, says the Commission has successfully recovered hundreds of vehicles that were illegally imported through the abuse of tax rebates meant for civil servants.
This was revealed this morning during the ongoing National Anti-Corruption Strategy Committee Review meeting being held in Harare.

Top Government officials in attendance include the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Ambassador Frederick Shava, Deputy Minister of Justice, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Nobert Mazungunye, and Prosecutor General, Justice Loice Matanda-Moyo.
The purpose of the meeting is to review progress made by the National Anti-Corruption Strategy Sub-Committees over the past four years.
