ZANU PF and its South African ruling counterpart the African National Congress (ANC) are working hand in glove to unsettle and defeat Western puppets in the form of opposition political parties that have been mushrooming in the region.

On Monday ANC Secretary General Cde Fikile Mbalula paid a courtesy on his Zanu PF counterpart Dr Obert Mpofu at the ruling party headquarters to share notes and map the way forward in the wake of the dangers associated with rising neo-colonialism.

Cde Mbalula attended the Zanu PF policy and coordinating meeting where he called for more collaboration between the two sister parties

“Thank you for the great opportunity to be here to interact and share information of our party and work in South Africa to date. We have been working in solidarity with Zanu PF for a long time. Defending Zanu PF is a revolutionary call.

‘‘I called the party leadership to work together and from time to time visit each other so that we understand what Zimbabwe is going through not to see Zanu PF through the lenses of the enemy,” said Cde Mbalula.

Zanu PF and ANC enjoy cordial relationship which backdates during the liberation struggle.

‘‘The ANC is still the same and it understands its relationship with Zanu PF. We must intensify this and fight for what is meant for our people” he said.

Cde Mpofu commended the relationship which exists between the two sister political parties.

He also commended the party leadership and its structures for winning the by-elections in all the six constituencies held over the weekend.

The two political parties’ leadership shared the same trenches during the liberation struggle and fight against apartheid in South Africa.

While, Zimbabwe held its general elections last year, South Africa will hold its elections this year to elect a new National Assembly as well as the provincial legislature.
