Zanu-PF condoles Mzembi family

cardiac arrest last Sunday at West End Hospital in Harare.
He was 53.

In a statement, Zanu-PF national chairman Cde Simon Khaya Moyo said the party had lost an unflinching revolutionary and the country was poorer by his absence.
“We mourn with the Mzembi family. We grieve together, for your loss is ours as well. In wishing the family strength and staying power, may his soul anchor and rest in eternal peace,” he said.

Cde Khaya Moyo said the Mzembi family had been robbed of a dependable pillar and source of inspiration.
“He was no doubt a distinguished freedom fighter with impeccable liberation war credentials,” he said.
Cde Mzembi will be buried this morning at the family homestead at Rupike Township in Masvingo.
